I've added to the FB post that upgrade details will follow soon, to avoid the panic!

Chris
They are in the blog announcement, at least from MX-17 But adding them to the post comments would highlight them. Feel free to do so.

From the blog.
And...existing users will receive all upgraded packages through the usual update channels. The new kernel is available in mx-packageinstaller -> popular apps!
EDIT: My understanding is we recommend a fresh install, not an upgrade, for MX-16 users due to the change from Debian Jessie to Stretch as the base.

EDIT2: Or link to the Community website migration page that Jerry posted in the Forum Announcement. Actually I will do that.

I upgraded the migration page and added it to the Facebook thread.

Posted on Reddit.

I retweeted DO's tweet.

BTW: I silently corrected the x64 torrent link that Chris noticed (!) on both the Forum announcement and the Blog itself. Deleted Chris's post to remove any confusion. Unfortunately, the Feed sent it out already with the error, but people will figure it out. Sent an email to Jesse at DW telling him to make sure he uses the correct URL.
