Well, Debian doesn't have any plugins for 3.1, and there's no bugs filed asking for them. Maybe they are all inside the Debian cura package. I don't have any way of testing the program, myself.

Packaging kde-thumbnailer 1.1.9b from scratch, since there aren't any deb packages at all out there: https://repology.org/metapackage/kde-th ... b/versions I use Dolphin and have loads of epubs; it works as advertised.

You need to mention where you are seeing these 2.7 plugins, since 2.7 is not available in Debian.
I'll deactivate the PPA repo and install the 3.1 from the community repo and see what happens!

Thanks, Stevo

Stopped the PPA and tried to install from the Com Repo and received the following errors

There was also the package, fonts-open-sans that needed installing, installed it, but none of the others.

Hmmm, it seems python3-savitar isn't available in any repo. Let me see if Stevo backported it but didn't send it up...

Here it is. You also have to install the actual lib package first for the python3 package to do anything.

Cura 3.1 is now installable from MXPI -> Full App Catalog -> MX Test Repo
The interface comes up but I don't have a 3d printer to test it with.

Installed with the MXPI as you stated. Installs, but nothing happens when the menu option is selected. Tired from the CL and received the error - Segmentation fault.

Code: Select all

$ cura
Segmentation fault
scott@mx17:~
$ cura
[libprotobuf FATAL ./google/protobuf/repeated_field.h:1453] CHECK failed: (n) >= (0):
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'google::protobuf::FatalException'
  what():  CHECK failed: (n) >= (0):
Aborted
PS: There is no icon with the GUI in the menu.

MX17, 64 bit
