Hi,
I would like to know if is possible to configure MX Linux to auto dist-upgrade?
I want to install MX Linux on my Mother laptop, and keep everything updated...
Thanks for your support!
auto dist-upgrade?
Re: auto dist-upgrade?
You could set unattended upgrades: https://wiki.debian.org/UnattendedUpgrades
Personally I think we should have a one-click option to enable that... I proposed that to the devs.

You are welcome!
Re: auto dist-upgrade?
How safe is it to enable this? What if the person in front of the computer tries to shut down or restart while packages are being updated in the background?
I personally don't like the idea of auto-updating, but it can be useful and if it works it's pretty cool from a technical perspective.
