And so the winner is – MX-16. This really is a great distribution (...)

"They like us! They really like us!"

But I thought MX 17 snuck in under the deadline for the Academy Awards...oh wait, wrong awards. I'll have to wait a year for the 2018 OCSars.
For many years, MX was an underdog offering
If you define since 2014 as "many", like those tribes with no concept of three: "one, two, many...".

Oh-ho-ho! Look what happened to his Lenovo laptop, possibly after trying a boot of Ubuntu 17.10 on it in October.

That can't be coincidence. I wonder how the Ubuntu reviews would change if he had known that they were the culprit.

If it still boots, can you not install a new system as long as you do not change the partition scheme? Or does it look for a specific kernel in a partition?

Back to the topic, just for fun: that's great that Dedo has named MX-16 the best Xfce distro!

I kinda wonder if the Xfce Devs will ever notice. And I will be interested to see what he thinks of MX-17--I expect that he will actually take a good look at iDevice Mounter, for instance, since smartphones have long been a particular interest of his.
Production: 5.10, MX-23 Xfce, AMD FX-4130 Quad-Core, GeForce GT 630/PCIe/SSE2, 16 GB, SSD 120 GB, Data 1TB
Personal: Lenovo X1 Carbon with MX-23 Fluxbox and Windows 10
Other: Raspberry Pi 5 with MX-23 Xfce Raspberry Pi Respin
