A new mirror

#1 Post by timkb4cq »

There is now a new mirror for the repositories and MX/antiX iso downloads located in Milan, Italy.
The address is it.mxrepo.com and it follows the same conventions for repository addresses as the other 3 mxrepo.com sites.
Hopefully this will make things a bit quicker for the users who recently lost the fast but short-lived German & French mirrors.
HP Pavillion TP01, AMD Ryzen 3 5300G (quad core), Crucial 500GB SSD, Toshiba 6TB 7200rpm

If this is not going to disappear like the other ones I can add it to MX Repo Manager...

Came through, I selected the Italy mirror, all went smoothly and quickly.

Good news!. Tomorrow I'll test it.

Edit: Today I tested the Milan mirror. Worked like a charm. Speed here about the same than NL repo (but not metered).
A good investment.

Good to have this new mirror.
I just tested with Repo manager but it seems, as for Eselma, that the one from The Netherlands is still the fastest
