I'm suspecting that a lot of the appearance and UI irritations I'm experiencing are due to the Oxygen theme I chose for this install. Which is odd (to me) since I've always had good success with it in the past. <shrug> I'm not happy with the other choices that came with the kde-standard package either.
So, can anyone recommend an Oxygen-like theme they like? I prefer a darkish theme, and am most happy with Oxygen's panel and icons.
What I'm really after is something that Warren would use. He and I always seemed to be on the same page when it came to this kind of stuff.

I believe Warren's default theme was "Elegance."

Thanks. That changed the Panel a bit (for the better), but didn't seem to effect much else. <shrug>DBeckett wrote:

Try installing "kwin-style-crystal" from the debian repo.
Then go to System Settings --> Workspace Appearance --> Window Decorations to tweak it.

And at the time, it was said we should check out the effects of the "Oxygen Theme", so I did. I do not know, where W.W. got the
theme from, maybe the PPAs. Remember, Debian stable is at least two years behind the fast trackers and what they are doing today.
