couchdb

#1 Postby darth.severus » Thu Mar 10, 2016 9:19 pm

The version of couchdb in MX14 is very old, and the version in MX14 also seems to have an unfixed bug.
This is why I ask for couchdb 1.6 if possible, or at least 1.4 if 1.6 has to many dependencies.

It's not urgent.

Website: http://couchdb.apache.org/
Dependencies for 1.6
Erlang OTP (>=R14B01, =<R17)
ICU
OpenSSL
Mozilla SpiderMonkey (1.8.5)
GNU Make
GNU Compiler Collection
libcurl
help2man
Python (>=2.7) for docs
Python Sphinx (>=1.1.3)
Intel Core2 Duo U7600 1.2 GHz, 1 GB RAM, i686 (32 bit) Desktop: Xfce 4.12.2, MX-14.4-pae
Intel Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller and 82801H (ICH8 Family) HD Audio Controller

Thanks mike! I was starting to look into it, but you are to fast :p , and I need to setup a vm for mx14. Once I have that I should be able to start helping with mx14 too, depending on the difficulty of the builds of course. ;)

and I need to setup a vm for mx14.
I use 2 m12 VMs, a 32 and a 64 bit. The m12 32 bit builds are used in MX-14. I only have MX-14 VMs for testing already built packages. The m12 ISO's are here. They are the 11.9.92's

edit: the 32 bit seems to work as tested using pieces of this tutorial https://pouchdb.com/guides/setup-couchdb.html

edit: 32 & 64 bit have been built and the link sent to Tim. Should be in the test repo in the not too distant future.
