I use a laptop with multiple distribution installations (different roles, testing). To be able to manage (re-install and resize based on changing requirements) I need the OS installation (swap, / , /home) to be on LVM lv's. /boot is on separate xfs partitions.
I know the installer doesn't currently support LVM (or LUKS for encrypting data to confirm to work mandated processes). I've tried various things, but I can't achieve this conveniently with the existing installer, which make MX unsuitable (in only this one respect) for my needs.
Is support for this on the roadmap? I rather like mx and would like to reduce my dependency on ubuntu based distro's. apart from the absence of this support MX is my preferred option.
I know this has been asked before, and apologies if this is not appropriate....but i would like to register an interest in this.
Installer support for LVM2 and LUKS.

LVMs as an install target are not on the roadmap.
The installer does currently support LUKS on standard partitions though.

I appreciate the prompt response.
It's not one for me then, it's a dealbreaker for my usage scenario.
