"No value has been set" at login

Hello,

Must have done something wrong as I now get "No value has been set" instead on my name at login. I enter my password and I get in, but I don't know why I'm getting this message.

I think it is samba related, so I uninstalled (complete) all applications with samba, but that did not resolve the issue.

Your help is appreciated.

troubleshooting as sudo//root, open /etc/lightdm/
in an editor for inspection and/or editing. Look for (fix if garbled, or create if missing) the line
autologin-user=yourusername

Hello skidoo.

I edited lightdm.com there was an # before thge autologin line with my name. I removed it bit th eissue is still unresolved. I will copy the contents hereunder.
