linux mediatree rebuild

I would like to get the linux mediatree ppa rebuilt for Mx Linux. https://launchpad.net/~b-rad/+archive/u ... +hauppauge I have extracted the dsc & other files but am not sure how to proceed. I figure it is better for me to request someone else more expert take on the task for me if possible. Is it possible to convert? ( meaning no ubuntu dependencies) I am looking at the Bionic kernel 4.15 thread.
