Suggestion: change dircolors from dark blue on black

Post by Guido » Sat Jan 12, 2019 2:19 pm

I modified my .bashrc
# fix the colors
LS_COLORS=$LS_COLORS:'di=1;36:' ; export LS_COLORS

I was just getting sick of not being able to read directory names. Since MX terminal defaults to black background, the default color scheme really doesn't work.
Since you're tweaking everything, I'd like to suggest you make this the default, or possibly set up something more sophisticated that detects background color.
