Looking at the /etc/init.d/console-setup.sh init script
It is referring to the /etc/console-tools/config file !!
Looks like you can setup the individual VC's from there.
There are comments at the top of the config file that explain how to do so.
There are commented examples to work from.
It appears that you can setup each VC differently if you wish.
Cool, I'll have to experiment with that when I find some time.
