I came across Ecosia search earlier https://www.ecosia.org/ - it's a charity search engine. It supports a good cause, see https://info.ecosia.org/what, and some good explanatory videos are at https://blog.ecosia.org/tagged/trees

I'm against such a ad-based bussines modell as paying with your "privacy". One reason I do prefere ddg and sp.
