Same issue with that "Granted permissions without asking for password" which is default in MX. Imagine Admin configured system and gave it to User without restart. P.S. That was just a good example. On topic, I believe that USB formatting should be without password but with some noticeable WARNING (like text on yellow background in XFCE programs)..
