Network Mask problem

The one and only bug I’ve personally run into is that if you setup the networking with the Live CD/DVD/USB Thumb drive, then install, it screws up the Network Mask. This is easily fixed by resetting the network connections after install so is a trivial problem.
Has this been addressed?

He hasn't been in our forum to my knowledge to post any details, but I've never seen the network-mask screwed up, with the possible exception that he may have set up a static connection, but upon login, since the demo account != installed's user account, the network needed set up again, as by default, connections in network-manager are only available to the user that created them (yep, its true!). This almost always crops up when folks set wifi passwords, but it could conceivably also happen with a static wired connection. (probably not with a dhcp wired connection, as wired connects pretty much automatically without the need for a wifi password except in some corporate type login situations).

This is a "feature" of network-manager, at least under sysVinit.
