I installed the Jessie package, then the Netactview deb from the SourceForge site. Seems to work correctly.

I install libgtop2-7 from Jessie repository and netactview work correctly. Can this cause any instability in the system?
Does the library disappear of the Stretch repositories?
Thanks Jerry3904.

Re: MX-17 netactview can't install for a dependency problem with library libgtop2-7
Stretch has a newer version, libgtop2-10. Netactview doesn't have a Stretch rebuild, obviously---that would then depend on the 2-10 version instead.
Hmmm...they did say their debs are for Ubuntu 14.04. Installing something like that on a Debian base is always a gamble.

Yeah, I saw that. Was just trying to find one solution that worked and that package didn't look like trouble.

Re: MX-17 netactview can't install for a dependency problem with library libgtop2-7
I packaged it from source for MX 15/16 and 17, so that works out of the box and [SOLVES] this thread. It's a nice little program. Just wait a minute for the MX 15 builds to complete...here you go: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1YfmwT ... 9rzdCAGEI4
I'll send it to Tim.
