Re: Lost Windows Button on MX 17
It seems there are a lot of things called Window Buttons. Here's the one I'm talking about:
Re: Lost Windows Button on MX 17
Yes, that. Was in Settings and Menu for 16.x

Personal: Lenovo X1 Carbon with MX-23 Fluxbox and Windows 10
Other: Raspberry Pi 5 with MX-23 Xfce Raspberry Pi Respin

Re: Lost Windows Button on MX 17
OK. It was removed from Settings. I can access it in MX 17 by right clicking on the panel, choosing Panel>Preferences then the items tab. Highlight Windows Buttons and click on edit. If you check show handle you can get to it easier. I am not sure why it was removed from settings.

It will be good to see it again.Jerry3904 wrote:I will make a request that we get it into MX-17, thanks for bringing this up.
Re: Lost Windows Button on MX 17
I have yet to see this reinstated in MX 17.
Please please please can it make a return. I have my places bar at the bottom and I find the ability to move the buttons invaluable. It saves me no end of time and squinting looking for specific buttons - they are where I placed them.

So https://docs.xfce.org/xfce/xfce4-panel/tasklist is no longer a part of XFCE?

its there, you just can't get to the Window Button settings directly thru the settings manager anymore. You need to go thru the panel settings as its a panel plugin.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
