Re: [solved] MX17 Mouse pointer acceleration doesn't work
Jumping the gun, but if it does conflict, can the mouse definition be pared off into a separate file?

Re: [solved] MX17 Mouse pointer acceleration doesn't work
I hadn't noticed the absence of control of mouse characteristics in MX-17 until
I ran across this thread. The default mouse parameters were about right for me.
The following scheme seems to work for me to allow some adjustments without adding
any new surprises:
Create a file evdev.conf identical to /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-evdev.conf
and place this in the directory /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/ and reboot.
My mouse is a Logitech M310 wireless.
