I am looking for something that sits on the desktop and is configurable as to size and information shown. If I just want to see weather info I can get it in a browser. Aesthetics are also a factor. We just have our own preferences for apps.

Ah I see, impressiv and aesthetical, and also that 3d-flying border around dolphin, and the color. Wow :exclamation:

The dolphin border is a compiz/emerald theme that is easily modified for color, glow and other parameters. It is quite versatile.

I saw this problem too, but I can't solve it.
Support accuweather will stop in next commits.
Looks like he read the report tim. His reply above.

None of the other options work either.

I can't be certain, but it appears he used developer APIs to access the various weather services that were not intended for production use. When the traffic increased they cut off that access.

The one I linked with the round interface (names in the early morn.. ugh) fetches the info from Yahoo weather, so at least that should hopefully work.

Anything that points to gis meteo, accuweather and the other one likely won't work in there anymore either.

I had the theme on transparent, no fancy bells and whistles. I also have that weather thing in my panel, but it's just not the same.

Rich, maybe we need to add to the title in the topic of this thread? To state "we be lookin'"?

Eadwine, [solved] should also be removed from the title and "alternate sought" added.
