We hear you. I knew it wouldn't be pleasant to revise. Thanks!

Old Giza wrote: Sat Apr 06, 2019 1:27 pm There are a few more updates that have been made recently. You may already have seen some of them on Transifex. Here's a list of the resources that have been affected:
  • gazelle-installer 32 new strings, most short but one very long. In that long string, there are several explanations of acronyms, like this: "CBC (Cipher block chaining)". You may choose to leave these as they are.
  • gazelle-services-descriptions one new description for Plymouth boot splash
  • mx-live-usb-maker one new string
  • mx-snapshot 3 new strings
Unfortunately at the moment (7th of April, 2019, 17:55), for gazelle-installer (Polish), there is "This resource currently is not accepting translations."

Yes, I have temporarily locked it. I want to resolve an issue first (and save you some effort).

It's my mistake and lack of understanding, we have a new dev that added a nice advance feature and I thought he finished but he submitted a update. I shouldn't have rushed to push the changes to Transifex and I should have made the new dev aware that any change in a string triggers a lot of re-translations... Sorry for this, we will update Transifex a bit less often in the future. Unfortunately there no good solution for the "big string" that goes in Help section of the installer and that's an unbroken string that goes in one text widget, I don't think there's a way to spit it in substrings.

The lock on gazelle-installer will be on for a little longer.

No lock here. Is it ok to translate or do you advise to wait a bit? (By the way I love translating as it is a good exercise to learn new things - I think of encryption)

No lock indeed. I have completed the ones that weren't translated yet.

Ah, I flipped that switch so many times I guess I got wonky. It's locked now. Expect to take it off shortly.
