For the first time ever I started the liveUSB with Dutch selected. I was testing a new DVI-D to VGA adapter cable and that works, obviously or I wouldn't be typing this, and I see there are a few things not translated.
Firefox - popup in English
Ethernet icon - popup in English
Desktop install icon text still in English, as is its popup
The rest looks ok right at first glance.
It is not that big of an issue really, most Dutch folk are well versed in the English language anyway, but I figured I'd report it nonetheless.
Off to my regular install again, all this Dutch is making me feel icky, like driving abroad, all those weird looking road signs *giggle*

Wow, that's a cool observation:Eadwine Rose wrote: ↑Wed Jan 02, 2019 8:09 am Firefox - popup in English
Ethernet icon - popup in English
Desktop install icon text still in English, as is its popup
-> Firefox - popup in English
Reason looks like Whisker functionality to send/display a menu icon onto the panel, strips all locales except the current one, hence the firefox icon at the panel shows only English (i.e. the locale used to create the panel icon).
How to fix: The panel icon in /etc/skel has to be created manually not with Whisker-menu
-> Ethernet icon - popup in English
I got a notification popup translated in German and the popop, when hovering with the cursor over the connection icon is also translated. Re-login with Dutch locale → translations missing.
→ Desktop install icon
Translations are missing within the Installer.desktop file for the Comment-lines, hence no translations displayed.

Ah.. thanks :)
Yeah.. it is not like -I- want these fixed.. I translate, yes, but I do not use. The only thing in Dutch is Windows, and that is because I have a friend who also uses it in Windows and when something is wrong it is easier to communicate over the phone what she needs to do
