Also, don't be discouraged, we can always update the programs (and manual) translations. So if somebody does a significant translation to a program we can always release an update later on.

Thanks for that Adrian. Documentation is always last, it needs to be correct. We need to wait until the system works properly before writing about it. The MX-16 manual in Russian is complete and should be up on the forum very soon. Others to follow.

@Gordon : as I said I'm more focused on the coherence between what we have in the manual and the user interface than the manual itself. That document is less relevant if you have "look for XXX" and YYY in the interface. That's my only concern. And the amount of work is such that we can't ensure a reasonable matching for the moment.
So we'll do as Adrian said and we will inform you when there is a significant breakthrough :happy:

Late to the party, but I found an annoying mis-translation in an important piece. The context menu of the box for update and install packages in system tray has in German "Aufrüsten" in its options, but it should be "Aktualisieren" for Update/Upgrade packages/system.
I was not able to find the relevant translation folder on Transifex for this item.
MX-14 on a Via Eden 1GHz CPU thin client, 3GB RAM, Via VX800 chipset, Via Chrome9 HC GPU, 32GB M.2 SSD;
btrfs with @ and @home subvolumes for MX-14;
added @antiX and @antiXhome subvolumes and copied antix 13.1 base into them, adjusting Grub from MX-14.

Maybe yes, apt-notifier. Is it from upstream then?

No, it's ours. I'll find it in Transifex one of these days.

Thanks.

Not on Transifex. I believe kmathern requests translations directly through the forum. But it could be on Transifex and that would allow our additional languages that have come on board to easily provide translations. I can assist with that after things have settled down if that's wanted.
