Little errors in sentences to translate

#1 Post by Spartak77 »

Yesterday some new phrases are added to translate.
I note that two of these contain a small mistake. I think

In add-key, string number 6 :
That key comination has been used

I think that it should be:
That key combination has been used

In add-key, string number 11 :
third key (letter of number)

it should be:
third key (letter or number)

The phrases are understandable even with the error, nevertheless I point out errors because it is better to correct them

Thanks for that, I'll edit the files.

BTW - I noticed that you have made some chenges to the Italian translations of the mx apps since we released MX-14.3. Are the old versions (used in MX-14.3) still ok or do they need to be updated and a new deb packaged for each app?

The changes I made aren't so important, they are only improvements. Transifex obviously does not show me the image and the program where a word is inserted, so when I saw an application translated into Italian I am able to understand that a word is better than another before translated.
For now I prefer you do not provide a new italian package.
I just finished translating 100% of the strings. I would still have time to test them.
When I'm ready I'll tell you so you decide what to do.

If Old Giza can wait a few weeks I would be most glad

I've been watching the Italian completion percentages go up too. Thank you for your dedicated work! No worries about taking time to polish your translations.
