We welcome translators who can work in any language, of course; this appeal is in response to the great interest in MX-14.4 in Poland, see this post.
We would like to have at least the first two applications that any MX Linux user sees available in the local language. Here are the percentages for Polish and Russian:
bootloader -- produces the opening screen from the downloaded ISO, allows things like language selection, time, etc.
Polish: 42%
installer -- enables the user to make a hard disk install
Polish: 79%
If interested, please post here, or send a PM to Adrian or me. Thanks very much!

You could always try an online translator--people are just living with the English strings, but something in their native tongue that's a hilarious mistranslation is much more likely to get a response.

Social Engineering.
Yes, even I am dishonest. Not in many ways, but in some. Forty-one, I think it is.

You can try asking at the Forum Linuxiarzy (http://linuxiarze.pl/forum/index.php#c4). It has a very small Mepis, antiX, MX subforum.
Filling the registration form is probably difficult, even with Google translate.

Re: Czy ty mówisz po polsku? Looking for a Polish translator
I am very pleased to announce that we now have most of the MX applications translated into Polish, thanks to the efforts of a volunteer who is a Linux user himself.
With all the new users in Poland, it is terrific that we can provide these things in their own language.

Re: Czy ty mówisz po polsku? Looking for a Polish translator
Hello and greetings,
I'm translating MX-18 Users Manual at the moment and I have finished already Section 1 and Section 2. I'll do my best to be as quick as possible with that work;)
I also registered to Transifex. I suppose that project "antix-development" is common for MX and antiX translations. Is it correct? I used this link: https://www.transifex.com/anticapitalis ... velopment/
I wish to you, all of MX and antiX developers, users and whole community very successful, fruitful, energetic and optimistic New Year 2019!
Be safe, healthy and happy wherever you are and whatever you do.
As we say and wish in Polish language: Do Siego Roku 2019!
Regards

Thanks for helping with the translations. Users Manual too - great!
Yes, that's right. There is a lot of shared commonality in the Transifex resources.I suppose that project "antix-development" is common for MX and antiX translations. Is it correct?
