I really like the Luv icons...How does one set "papirus as fallback", or is that just your way of saying you switch back to papirus when you're tired of Luv?

Re: MX-18 Screenshots
Heh, when you have so many wallpapers you like, you need to rotate through them quickly.
Paul, because Luv not a comprehensive icon set, I want the missing icons to fallback on a more comprehensive set. You can see that quite a lot of the icons on my panels are papirus ones.
To do so, open the file index.theme in the Luv folder with a text editor.
Change the "inherits" line by adding papirus (use the full name of papirus as reflected on the papirus main folder) immediately after the = sign. This will give it priority over any other fallback themes.
PS. Perhaps a newer version of Luv will be more complete now. I haven't checked for some time.

Re: MX-18 Screenshots
I go bonkers no matter what's on my desktop... so I figure rotating my desktop wallpapers by season ( I have dozens by season) is just fine. I notice no change in my 'bonkersness'. :lipsrsealed:

Agreed. It looks like a great candidate for MX-18.1 (Busterized).Paul.. wrote: ↑Tue Jan 01, 2019 9:10 am thanks for the instructions, asqwerth...really nice icon set, got the latest from github...https://github.com/Nitrux/luv-icon-theme

I'm still in Newaita's corner.....

I requested an MX-Tools icon, and a prettier icon for ksnip (default is terrible) and the dev obliged. Very responsive.

Re: MX-18 Screenshots
Not that anyone asked but another icon theme that is modern and, I think, 'fresh' is Flat-Remix (https://github.com/daniruiz/flat-remix ). On the theme side, I use and like Qogir (for the window border; https://github.com/vinceliuice/Qogir-theme ) with greybird-mx17 for the "appearance".
