It looks very nice and matches the wallpaper perfectly. I will have to adapt it for hdpi.

Nice screenshot Jerry. I admire your honesty, the idea behind the minimalist wallpapers is that if you add anything to the desktop e.g, conky it still looks clean and doesn't look to busy.
Also good job on matching the conky colors to the wallpaper, which should have been used in the default ISO.

Can you post your conky config please?

Thanks
Ant
Hey, Antech,

https://github.com/MX-Linux/mx-conky-da ... X-CoreBlue

I think the idea was to not have a too-techy/geeky conky for the default, since MX does have a significant section of users who are newcomers or just want to use their computer as a tool, and aren't into so much tech information being displayed.

By coincidence, Core Blue has been the conky running on one of my MX17 installs for the past few months, but I enabled the weather bit.

Might be worth a reminder that MX Conky now makes changing color very easy (presupposing that I did the codes correctly).

I was actually referring to the actual conky colors that Jerry had done rather than the actual type of conky.

Ah so. Fair point. What colour combination would you have chosen?

Anyway, here's my screenshot with Core Blue conky (weather enabled) .

Icons = Luv with papirus as fallback.

Either you choose a neutral background image or,
with CM it should be possible to align this Conky a little to the left. With "MX linux " underneath, the whole system looks more beautiful. :lipsrsealed:

Nah, I'm using variety wallpaper changer, which changes my wallpaper every 7 minutes. Lots of non MX wallpapers in the pool.

Hah! That would drive me bonkers! I am content with 4 desktops each having a different wallpaper.
