@pat-san

Nice look for a not-so-common DE.
Desktop: Intel i5-4460, 16GB RAM, Intel integrated graphics
Clevo N130WU-based Ultrabook: Intel i7-8550U (Kaby Lake R), 16GB RAM, Intel integrated graphics (UEFI)

The funny thing about conky is that it is considered as a window in the background and therefore,
receives the same treatment as the others, transparency and shadow. :rock:

I have begun working on making my minimal MXLinux look more 'current'; I hope. Here is my first effort at a decent and somewhat unique xfce layout. The big changes from standard are a modified left panel and the use of tint2...

-- an abbreviated Left side Xfce panel
-- "tint2" for the base Window Buttons & Short-cuts
-- Greybird-mx17 & Toffee-xfwm (Themes for the Windows)
-- Zafiro-icons

The following links will provide images:

MX running under QEMU in my Alpine Linux dwm desktop:

I liked it so much that I mounted the disk image (f'nar!) and copied it to a btrfs subvolume on my hard drive:

Just over 200MiB RAM usage for a bare XFCE desktop (after a few hours of hatchet work), very impressive :happy:
