A simple Modification of layout and orientation in MX 17.01
Button Panel set to Intelligent hide mode to save vertical space and appears when needed.
Whisker menu is little modified from default to give a new look.

Interesting adjustment of the whisker menu.Auro Kumar Sahoo wrote:A simple Modification of layout and orientation in MX 17.01

It resembles the Plasma Kicker Menu or Cinnamon Menu.

@Richard: it's pretty neat, huh? It took me a while to warm up to it, but now I really like it.
Originally BTW we wanted the conkiy underneath the diagonal to the right, and that is where I still have it myself. But there was no way to make it work OOTB for all resolutions.

@asqwerth,
Curious question: Intelligent mode in certain modes leads to severe flickering of the panel,
until I move away and click somewhere else to make it stop.
It has presented on everything I've tried it on: netbook, laptop, old desktop using Xfce4.12.?
I seem to remember that it happened on MX16 and probably before.
I just attributed it to an Xfce bug. I think I saw a bug report on it
but maybe everyone thought the same.
