It may not show much imagination, but I have stuck closely to the default. I've changed the Conky clock display to 24-hour, reduced the panel width to 32 and tailored what's on it. The result is the best-looking desktop I've ever had (IMHO). It's so good that I'm changing my long-time use of my 6 desktops. No 1 will now be Thunar, kept minimised, so this is what I see. I don't like anything on my desktop but I'll make an exception for that glorious Conky - it's goes with the wallpaper so well.

My fully updated Pre-RC1 installation.

Am in the midst of going through what I want to keep from my MX15 install, and decided that even though most of the gtk themes are no longer compatible with MX17's gtk3.22, their window manager themes were still usable and should be salvaged. The Numix-Deadwood theme is from 2014 and so the rest of it won't be compatible anymore, but the WM theme is a darker grey than the grey in normal Numix.

Didn't use Vertex's own WM theme because it's really skinny and the min/max/close buttons are tiny.

hello dolphin_oracle and everyone
love MX-17 look ri is right inside the word Horizon. Panel deskbar on left, window default Greybird mx-17, icons Paper-Mono-Dark, font default Noto Sans 10.5, Compositor On. Thank you for having the Paper icons in the repository. The usual favorite here, Tango icons look fantastic bigger and brighter than ever. As with all of MX-17 is a very crisp, sharp look. Attachment image reduced quality for forum upload.

Very nice, i_ri!

I'd forgotten Paper icons had been packaged previously.
