My MX17 pre-RC install (fully updated of course).

Just trying out TeoBigusGeekus' Wunderground weather script and conky, since the Accuweather script has to be changed so often. But it was in new-syntax conky, so I had to manually convert it to get it to show up in Conky Manager, and then I had to adjust the positioning of all the weather images for my screen. Needless to say, I only bothered to do one. :p

Fun!

I went through all our conkies with the new app, and it did well. Running on MXFB it had no problems with correcting transparency, of course.

Still pretty happy with my two MX17 installs. This install I use with compiz including emerald window decoration (the other install just uses xfwm + skippy-xd for the windows overview function).

Application gtk theme is an oomox tribute to an old theme "crocus" from crunchbang or bunsenlabs forum, while the folder icon colours were also done in oomox using the provided Suru-theme base.

Doesn't MX-17 auto-update itself to MX-18.3 (except for the kernel and wallpapers) as they're both based on Stretch?

Yes, you can see in my conky that it states MX18 but the date of release is still Dec 2017.

But I think my setup/theming for boot/splash, and any other configs generated in home upon first install would be what was set up in MX17 (subject to any changes I've made) instead of MX18.

Thus I'm posting in the MX17 and not MX18 thread. I never installed the official release of MX18 on my machines, except for some test VMs.
