I requested this custom wallpaper (and 2 more) from antechdesigns, a forum member. He contributes artwork to various distros, not just MX Linux.

You might like to check out the rest of that thread for his wallpaper contributions to MX. There are a few darkish ones there. All very tasteful. I'm in fact using one of his kingfisher wallpapers for my login screen in place of the default kingfisher background for MX16.1.

This one: viewtopic.php?p=418104#p418104
The pose of the bird gives it a cheery and perky vibe.

You can create an MX wallpaper by starting with what you want, then following the directions in the Wiki:

https://mxlinux.org/wiki/other/art-procedures

There is a link to the logo in the Resources section, and directions in the Desktop section.

If you just want a colour, there is no need for a wallpaper file.

Go to Settings>Desktop
Set Style to None
Set Color to Solid Color
Click the first colour dialogue, and select what you want, either from the the RGB values, or the Colour Name.

(For black, set the Colour Name to #000000)

Do you mean the Grub background, or the login screen?
