antech, are those the Mint icons with their blue folder option? I always thought they were a nice variant of Faenza with a few original icons of their own (e.g. Graphics icon).

The icons are Obsidian Icon Theme: https://www.xfce-look.org/p/1169579/
Faeanza-based icon theme with a few new app-icons, blue or green folders and new mimetype icons.
Primary developed for Linux Mint and Ubuntu GNOME. Limited support for KDE Plasma.

Thanks!

I have heard of Obsidian before but I think it was some time ago, when they had fewer new icons. Looks like the icon set has grown nicely.

Obsidian was a suggestion I made during the development process.

No wonder it sounded so familiar!

I use Vibrancy and Vivacious a lot. They are very complete.

But one of them seemed to be a hodge podge of other icon themes, particular Moka and Faba icons. I wasn't sure of the copyright status so didn't raise it before.

[ADDED] The other one, Vivacious, seems less derivative to me, but perhaps it's because I'm not familiar with the icon themes that inspired it. It's a nice purple/violet/teal-tinged set of icons, which I really like.
