hello Jerry3904
hi richb You got us thinking that faba iconset was your favorite and that nothing could pry you from it. purple with vivacious; Great, Crisp. how does faba look on that desktop of yours. you must have tried it by now. I just like vibrancy a bit more than vivacious. and hard to pry me off tango. You would be the first to say to each their own. ain't it great.

@Richb, That is a most impressive screenshot, and your modifications are very nice.
I do like Vivacious icon theme very much and use the teal, pink and purple folder variants a fair bit, esp in my Manjaro and Mint 17 partitions.
Are you able to export your emerald theme using Emerald Theme Manager? I would like to import it for use in Compiz.
@i_ri, I also like Vibrancy but it's essentially Moka + some other stuff + RAVEfinity's folder style.
Their Vivacious theme seems more original or at least its influences are much less recognisable. I also like the overall purple/turquoise tone to the whole set.

Re: MX-16 Screenshots
After testing both circular start buttons, I went back to the simple white MXStartLogo you created very early on, ie the one with no borders around it. Because the logo is bigger and clearer on that one.antechdesigns wrote:Forgot the shadow on the start button

The ones bounded by square or circular borders by necessity have smaller logos.

Not sure where you got that opinion. Have not tried Faba with this scheme.i_ri wrote:hello Jerry3904

Re: MX-16 Screenshots
I'm still waiting for my laptop to be repaired & returned, so I thought I'd get a jump on setting things up to my liking by using the MX Live USB on an old desktop. I must say, I've never looked at a computer screen of my own & said to myself, "I love how that looks", but thanks to MX Linux, well, see for yourself! (As for me, I LOVE how that looks!)

Re: MX-16 Screenshots
Normally, I lean toward the almost-cliche dark-blue-and-black desktop look.
But, new-to-me laptop, fresh install of MX-16, and the serendipitous discovery of a teal color scheme that didn't suck, I decided to indulge one of my favorite color combinations: purple with teal.
