This is actually my first hard drive installation of MX; up until now, I've been using it only for live sessions (as was Mepis, MX is my favorite distro for live sessions). I've been having a lot of fun tweaking stuff and setting things up. Nice job on this release, folks!

Nice! :number1:

I remember that you were asking why MEPIS (and then MX) over Ubuntu, Debian, or Mint. Can I turn the question around?

Adrian, there are several reasons why I prefer to go with Debian and Ubuntu instead of MX (I don't use Linux Mint). One thing that happens here, by the time the latest MX release comes out, I've already had the latest Stable (with Xfce) installed and set up the way I like it for several months. In fact, I usually install the next Debian release some weeks after the Testing freeze. Granted, MX comes with some things that you don't get in a default Debian installation, but most of it is stuff I really don't need and won't use.

But I sure do use MX for live sessions. I like GParted Live, too, and some others, but MX works out best for me.
