Okay...thanks for doing that, D_O. I never would have found that.

EDIT: Test no longer available. Here is a link to the final mods to the Greybird themes.

https://github.com/pcallahan80/MX-Panel ... r16.tar.gz

1. Extract the two folders and README
2. As root, copy the extracted folders 'Greybird-thick-grip' and Greybird-thin-grip' to /usr/share/themes
3. Enable in two places in Settings:
a. Settings->Appearance->Style
b. Settings->Window Manager->Style

Here is a link to the test theme. Tested here and seems to solve the problem...but need others to test before sending to packaging team.

https://github.com/pcallahan80/MX-Panel ... est.tar.gz

Instructions for testers:
1. Extract to folder
2. As root, copy the extracted folder 'Greybird-from-Stretch-Test' to /usr/share/themes
3. Enable in two places in Settings:
a. Settings->Appearance->Style
b. Settings->Window Manager->Style
4. Test 'sudoku' and/or 'Print Settings' widget (sudoku is the most obviously broken/fixed)
looks OK. Now just need your mods for thin and thick grip versions

All set guys. Thanks for the testing. I have forwarding the Greybird theme mods to the packaging team. Note that the Bluebird theme has not been fixed. As that comes available, please let me know and I will modify accordingly.

If you would like to download immediately instead of waiting for a package update, you may do so here:

https://github.com/pcallahan80/MX-Panel ... r16.tar.gz

1. Extract the two folders and README
2. As root, copy the extracted folders 'Greybird-thick-grip' and Greybird-thin-grip' to /usr/share/themes
3. Enable in two places in Settings:
a. Settings->Appearance->Style
b. Settings->Window Manager->Style

I just discovered that our gtk3-engines-xfce package is an empty package for some reason, so am wondering if that could be also to blame. I'm going to try and rebuild it to see if it comes out right this time.

Nice catch, Stevo. Let me know when you're ready and it looks like it solves the problem...and I will test to verify.

Here's the good packages: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxE7wb ... sp=sharing

I was going to have to do them anyway. Does the Bluebird theme still look bad after these two (the gtk2 and gtk3 packages) are installed, and xfce logged out and back in?

OK, probably should have guessed that if other distros reported the bug already, too.

I'll have packages in a minute or three for the new greybird themes, I'll bump the version from 1.1 to 1.2.
