A 'KDE' flavour of MX would be impractical to offer, alongside the existing xfce?
Every time this comes up, the answer is the same: who is going to do the work? Our Lead Developer already has his hands full with MX and the other flavors of antiX, and I lack time, talent and interest.

Yet this is not a monumental task, as the Community has everything it needs to do this work:

1) a choice of excellent releases of antiX to start with
2) a group of people who are knowledgeable about KDE
3) a tool (MX Snapshot or the antiX equivalent) for creating an ISO to distribute.

Only thing left to find is commitment and leadership.
Production: 4.15.0-1-amd64, MX-17.1, AMD FX-4130 Quad-Core, GeForce GT 630/PCIe/SSE2, 8 GB, Kingston SSD 120 GB and WesternDigital 1TB
Testing: AAO 722: 4.15.0-1-386. MX-17.1, AMD C-60 APU, 4 GB

From where I sit it not difficult at all. However having to support beyond here on the forum isn't something I'm wanting to do. joany's Guide is an excellent place to start.
Yes, even I am dishonest. Not in many ways, but in some. Forty-one, I think it is.

I choose to use AntiX, (& to a lesser extent MX), because it is a lightweight distro.

If people want a heavyweight like KDE or Gnome why start with AntiX(?).

My MX 14.4 with KDE is way faster than many KDE-based distros. As is antiX. Add support and the way is clear.
