Not officially, although I suspect someone may make a spin.

Pre install:
Ahead of installing I wanted to check a file on my external harddrive, the external one did not appear in the devices overview. Couldn't get there via /media either.
Libreoffice quickly flashed but didn't start.
The crowding of the icons in the system tray seems to be gone.

Post install:

I can see the other partitions and drive post install.
Libreoffice starts like normal post install.
System tray crowding issue is back
On you pre-installed scenario, had you already started the installer?

Is the volume muted perhaps?

Trivial:

The Help file for MX Tweak>Other references the option to toggle Hibernate, which isn't supported in 19.

Originally yes, but un-muting doesn't change the color of the icon. I also noticed that the "notification" in the upper right of screen does not display the white bar (or any bar) showing the volume level or the percentage when I scroll the mouse wheel while hovering over the icon. It only shows a greyed-out notice "Volume Icon" and the icon itself.

Right click the icon and close. The restart it in a terminal with

volumeicon &

And close the terminal. See if your volume.control returns

ok, will have to add back the old stretch mitigations to make volumeicon work more reliably. basically we need it to force starting up after pulseaudio. irritating...

I actually like the newer pulseaudio panel plugin even though it has the unsightly big speaker icon and isn't part of the notification area. To me, it provides so much more functionality than volumeicon.
