Hmm.. no collection of 1s here. Different date though.
It looks like yours was upgraded from the original MX-18 release.

What I posted is what I get while running in a MX-18.1 Live session

I just noticed it, why all the extra .1's ?
whoops, that's because mx-system must have been reinstalled, and it bumped the 18 in 18.1 to 18.1,yielding 18.1.1 just tried it here and yep, that one is on me.

so I guess I could use some sed magic to fix it kent?

edit* I think I can fix that.

La forma más sencilla como ya lo expuso @Adrian es:

Code: Select all

lsb_release -a
con inxi -F da una información mucho más extensa y detallada.
Llama la atención que salga Distro: MX-18.1.1.1.1.1_x64 Continuum Feb 9 2019 en una instalación desde ceros con la ISO de febrero, no hay reinstalación.

The simplest way, as explained by @Adrian, is:

Code: Select all

lsb_release -a
with inxi -F gives a much more extensive and detailed information.
It is striking that Distro: MX-18.1.1.1.1.1_x64 Continuum Feb 9 2019 in an installation from zeroes with the February ISO, there is no reinstallation.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
No todos ignoramos las mismas cosas.

The date seems to go back to when the user installed MX 18. I have December 17, 2018, myself.
