Correct me if wrong, but as I can see all of the major issues are fixed or have some kind of workaround? So does experience with MX and XPS 9560 changed?

Background: I'm fairly new to linux world and would like to have some Linux distro on my working lap (targetting backend dev). Since our major products are running on debian, MX as desktop looks like a perfect match. Idea is to do dual boot with windows...

I suppose you could PM fladd to ask him. I think some of his issues don't occur with the 2018 Dells, though.

Thanks for replay. I sent PM to fladd. Regarding 2018 Dells, well mine is 9560 from 2017..

Yes, as described in the first post, I found fixes or workarounds for most issues. It is not ideal, but it works. And you only have to set it up once, unless you plan to reinstall frequently.
