The video content only? It does full screen but not the video only as it does in a browser.

No, the expand control in the video window does not function. But I can see fine as it is...

Not so much on a 21 inch screen. But not a big deal as there are so many other ways to watch Youtube.

Works on MX. Wonder why it doesn't work on antiX? Anyone got any ideas? gstreamer plugins missing?
Found the answer. For antiX users, install gstreamer1.0-libav, gstreamer1.0-plugins-good, gstreamer1.0-alsa and/or gstreamer1.0-pulseaudio then

Code: Select all

antix-viewer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MvrO6X0z5eM

The packager(s) should consider adding those to the recommended or suggested packages, then.

Another one: You don't need a web-browser to watch videos:
Eg.
Copy and Ctrl-V paste the URL into on open VLC window

or (if your browser supports dragging URL's )

Drag and drop the URL into an open MPV window
:puppy:
Didn't know this, thanks

Or you can use hooktube Redirector addon in your browser, seamlessly redirecting all YouTube video links to hooktube.

For Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/us/firefox/a ... edirector/
Nice, will install, thanks

I use Adrian's neat little browser:

Code: Select all

mx-viewer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MvrO6X0z5eM
Have it set up on a launcher in one of the panels.
I didn't know for this one either, nice one!
