#1 Post by keos » Fri Oct 12, 2018 10:18 am

Problems with Pychess and Wine.

This time i have installed Pychess and wine but i”m not able to run any of the chess engines that require wine for linux in pychess. Only Stockfish 9 and Komodo which do not require of wine are working fine.

This is what i”m doing:

After the extration of this programs: Houdine, Fire, etc, i”m going to open Pychess and: >edit>motors>new, then i navegate till i found the chess engine, once i found the motor, click/open, and the chess motor is «added» to pychess but ... it doesn”t work.

Note/

In Pychess i can”t follow this instructions of timkb4cq that work fine for Arena:

viewtopic.php?f=104&t=41936&start=10#p410648

There is no how to paste anything at pychess.

*I changed the subject because ...

The real problem is with Wine since i installed scid and chess engines are not working with scid --those that need wine of course.
