CLI - using ctrl-z, sleep n jobs to do simultaneous things at the CLI

#1 Post by boombaby »

Hello, newer Linux Users (the "newbies")...

As a person who struggles with CLI (Command Line Interface, ie not the desktop but the "typing stuff") I love it when I find out how to do something really useful, but easy at the same time.

Well; today I found this little gem...

https://www.rosehosting.com/blog/how-to ... -in-linux/

It allows you to be working at the command line on something, then TEMPORARILY cease what you are doing, in order to go do something else, then pop back into the first thing and continue working. Very neat trick - when you need it. (Hope you can remember it - when you need it.)
