What are your favorite MX features compared to other distros like AntiX?

#1 Post by cheapybob »

I see on Distrowatch that MX is a rising star, and the reviews are very good, and I've watched a couple, but they don't give a lot of details.

I have run mostly AntiX the past 3 years, which has much in common with MX, but I'd like to know what are the best features that I'm missing so I can go try and experiment with them to see if there are additional features that would compel me to move.

Thanks...
Too many years to remember and too many computers to list.

IMHO, more GUIs.
Functionally, pretty much the same.
MX is based on antiX & Debian stable.
They share a lot of code and are different.

This is an unusual request, or maybe it just never occurred to me.
It is a thought provoking question.
How or what are the benefits of MX over antiX?
Thinkpad T430 & Dell Latitude E7450, both with MX-21.3.1
kernal 5.10.0-26-amd64 x86_64; Xfce-4.18.0; 8 GB RAM
Intel Core i5-3380M, Graphics, Audio, Video; & SSDs.

I'm going to close this thread as Moderator. We don't want to start such a discussion about our sister distro on this Forum.
