A simple solution to "virtual mount" an iso-file would simply right-click and open with "Archive Manager" within Thunar.
Ok thats not a true mount but at least for the most standard iso's you will get access to the content of that iso ( ok - at least to first partion if multiple and non udf-iso's)
A bit more advanced might be to simply add a custom action rigth-click options within Thunar. So actualy no need for installing exta stuff.

preterive, BitJam recently released a script for mounting iso and squash files:

viewtopic.php?f=77&t=44622

Although it's described as beta, it works well for me.
