Well, Firefox-ESR (from Debian repo) and Palemoon suit me.

I have the same too in this order (1-) Palemoon, 2-) Firefox-ESR with sometime 3-) Midori for downloads with wget).

I use: 1- Opera; 2- Firefox MX and 3- SlimJet by its download manager.
No todos ignoramos las mismas cosas.

Take care, Midori is clearly unmaintained for years and may be potentially harmful.

Merci cyrillus, my Midori is into firejail, and I do not use it very often.

I am finding that Vivaldi with one tab is using more RAM than Opera with 2 tabs. I think I'll be sticking with Opera, even with my netbook.

(We're located about 95 clicks north of Frankfurt) :p .
I was stationed at Ayers Kaserne - 48 cliks North of Frankfurt - Kirsch Gons, Giessen, Bad Nauheim, etc. Nice towns in the '60's, probably much different nowadays, but nice towns back then!

I didn't care for Pale Moon, Midori, Qupzilla, FF-ESR and a couple of others, I don't remember if I looked into the Vivaldi browser or not, I was looking for a minimalist browser, but none of the ones I tried would fit the bill for me; and, I had used Seamonkey several years back, so that's what I settled on. I will look into Vivaldi and see if'n I can figure out why I didn't try it out. Mebbe it was related to something I've always had trouble with - i.e. Opera, Google/Chrome, etc.
THX for the response.

Since F/fox went stupid with Quantum, I have been using what it should have been like and is now called Waterfox. Brill browser, can't fault it.

i've have being using ff for a long time without problems, run fast n smooth.
share my tweaks on ff as attached file, always copy ./mozilla as backup.
