No probs with FF either. In fact, there is a site where I order my hair clips that will throw a fit in Chrome when I try to order, but FF always saves the day there.
MX-23.2_x64 July 31 2023 * 6.1.0-18-amd64 ext4 Xfce 4.18.1 * 8core AMD Ryzen 7 2700

Because, step after step it consumnes too many system ressources (too many big processus "Web Content"), and the new versions come too often for me (against the stability) .. ... in fact, FF is interesting but only for the new computers or with a lot of memory. (idem for Chrome and Co) ... I use it only as an alternative now.

if it is lack of memory, why not use zram??
https://mxlinux.org/wiki/other/zram

edit /etc/default/zram
change FACTOR=25 to 50 for better performance.
MX-17.1_x64 Horizon, G41M-P33 Combo (MS-7592), Pentium E5400 (2706 MHz), 8Gb RAM (984 MT/s),
Intel 4 Series Integrated Graphics, Realtek PCIe Fast RTL8101/2/6E, PCI Gigabit RTL8169 Ethernets.
Accepted Linux when i found MX-Linux in 2016.

Will zram work with limited RAM, such as a netbook deliberately maxed out by the mfr at 2GB?

I have already do that, but after I have a lack of CPU (and more swap disk) ;-)

my cpu nearly decade old, running great with mxlinux, minimal without composition.
zram is the best, why not try it instead of asking?

if it lack of cpu power, should it be time to upgrade?
my cpu is e5400 since 2009......i think cheap icore old gen won't be so lacking.

Yes but I guess you have only one session active at the time, here the issue occurs when I have sometimes several sessions in the same time (usually 3 users with FF into background).
And I do not want to kill the others sessions.

ha...so can't blame the tools but too many users.
just like 1 litre bowl but users want to fill with 2 litre beyond its capacity.

... Yes, but with the same amount of user sessions, no problem with PaleMoon (for example), and without zram.
