The answer is no, because AFAIK the only standard USB size <2gb is 1gb.makemxlinuxeasy wrote:is mx linux able to be installed or dual-boot with win10 via a <2 gb usb?
.....
If you want a portable live-USB (to use on any computer), a much larger one is recommended.

I usually click on the iso button and read the size of the iso being downloaded. KISS rules my world when not bothering to read any documentation for what ever reason.

The MX iso is approximately 1.3GB. So you will need at least a 2GB stick.
some of the mirrors truncate the file size that is displayed to 1GB, but its actually larger.
release features are here: https://mxlinux.org/current-release-features

well that's helpful, thank you!dolphin_oracle wrote:The MX iso is approximately 1.3GB. So you will need at least a 2GB stick.
* so ~1.3gb
so something more than that
* some download places show 1gb, but is larger than that
that's very helpful
that's super helpful
this page https://mxlinux.org/current-release-features doesnt show that basic info,
it's 2 important bullet points of important and basic info
if it doesnt show, then you jsut ask something simple
but then you have to deal with all this?
---
i dont what's going on here anymore, you have all these ppl, all these ppl who could help with a simple question, but they dont i dont understand
i just dont understand, i dont get it
im going to look into the other thing, i cant deal with this
not sure if im going to end doing the dual boot anymore, i was just seeing but it's already so painful
just going to get a macos long-term
and looks like its a lot better to just stay away from linux,
every single thing related to linux has coninued to be so painful
it was a simple question
