What's the meaning behind the codenames for MX and antiX?

heh, can't win. Nothing's safe. All the good words are taken (or tainted).
FYI, 'round hereabouts, "bandicoot" matches the top definition found in urbandictionary https://www.urbandictionary.com/define. ... =Bandicoot

Liberté chérie...la la la :celebrate:

I don't know what name should be embraced for the next version but as in antiX it should be "normalized".
By the way I may be wrong but it does not appear on mx website.

"Crash" Bandicoot is the first thing that came to my mind. It would be the first thing in a review if MX Bandicoot would happen to crash, too. I don't think anyone has ruined the quokka yet, though, but I'm sure the Net is working on it.

Quokkas have a tough life, what with quokka soccer and French tourists setting fire to them.

So...are mine good suggestions?

A scientific word taken from space adventuring, is always cool.

Like; Supernova. Red Dwarf (great show). Solar Wind (that sounds awesome)... MX Solar-Wind... Event Horizon. Dark Matter. etc...

They always sound good, right?

Hmmm...Event Horizon, which leads to Singularity, which leads to Eschaton.
