LinuxInsider MX17 Beta review
Re: LinuxInsider MX17 Beta review
I really like that the reviewer focused on "On the Go" features.

Re: LinuxInsider MX17 Beta review
The MX does very good job, just to be aware from the consequences of its success.

I only wish the reviewer wouldn't credit MX for developments carried out by antiX.

That's true, there was also something about MX doing persistency better than antiX which would be strange since we rely on BitJam's scripts. But for people who are not aware of all the nitty-gritty parts is hard to keep track of what exactly is contributed by whom.Jerry3904 wrote:I only wish the reviewer wouldn't credit MX for developments carried out by antiX.

I'm going on a video podcast this weekend and I'll be addressing some of that. The hosts have asked about the relationship between antix and mx. Re: LinuxInsider MX17 Beta review
Thanks, but if that is the worst problem then it is a pretty darned good review. I think the main thing is the reviewer appreciates the live features available in MX and antiX. Also, it is a testament to the hard work of so many of the devs here that the reviewer could focus on positive things and not get bogged down in reporting bugs and problems.Jerry3904 wrote:I only wish the reviewer wouldn't credit MX for developments carried out by antiX.
