I use MXLinux for a short while. After a view day's it became my default system. .

There is a Con if you want.
If you want a really fancy desktop like Gnome or Unity. It's kinda possible but i would not recommend it. Use XFCE a great fast and easy tweakable desktop :)

One of my favorite tools is the easy to use Snapshot / Remaster tools.

17 1 beta solved problems which i had running 16.1 . Not major but nice.

Easy wireless driver managing.

Easy Keyboard configuration.

Live boot persistence possibilities. To save your session . Depending the storage space on your USB. Like Puppy.

2 passwords. Root and for User.

Repositories are clean and a ton of applications. Ubunutu's ppa are tricky to use.

I install first

Synapse for quick apps launch
Guake as default terminal.
Catfish search shortcut.
fslint as i somehow all-way's get duplicates in my music directory :o
clementine the best music player for me. A solid clean tweakable player. Also lasfm, soundcloud, spotify, etc.

And more great software Debian has to offer.

With some window-settings-tweaks and xfce-look-manager it looks very quick really good.
I dare to say 95% of the programs are in the best look if you use Adwaita (dark). This template works the best all system round.
I use Papirus-dark as icon. It's the simpleness i like at the moment. Faenza was my most used before.

MX17 Beta 1 is stable and solved problems for me. What now Beta ? Rock solid !

Great work Antix / Mepis team.

:number1:
Arcolinuxb I3 xfce.
